“Please, please if anyone has any information it will be appreciated no matter how big or small.”

Nayyib Mohammed, aged 24, of Marshall Street, Smethwick, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance. He is due to appear before Walsall and Aldridge Magistrates Court.

Detective Sergeant Paul Hughes, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said:

“Whilst this is a significant development, our investigation still continues. We know from CCTV that there were a number of motorists present at the time of the collision who have not yet come forward and I would appeal for them to get in touch.”
