West Mids born TV & radio presenter Brad Baker reflects on life in new programme

West Mids born broadcaster Brad Baker, looks back at life in an exclusive show.

Brad, 25, shares stories from across his career in entertainment.

Brad was raised in Sedgley, West Midlands. He attended Alder Coppice Primary School and The Dormston Secondary School.

He would become the youngest person to present on UK sports television, to date. He presented the motorsports show ‘Blood, Sweat and Gears’ at 16.

He was a child catalogue model. He was a regular across the popular UK brand NEXT.

At the same time, he appeared in stage productions. He was a ‘munchkin’ in The Wizard Of Oz. He later portrayed the villain in Queen’s ‘We Will Rock You’.

In 2015, he performed alongside soul legend Patti LaBelle at the O2 MANCHESTER. (Patti LaBelle sang the end credits song to the James Bond film Licence To Kill ‘If You Asked Me To’. in 1989. She was an honoured invitee at Oprah’s Legends Ball and in 2014 was asked to perform exclusively for Barack and Michelle Obama.)

He recalls presenting shows in the UK and overseas. He presented a weekend breakfast show in 2014, which aired across the Hits Network across the UK and stations abroad, including one in the Canary Islands.

Brad was a resident performer at a five star resort in the Balearic Islands, 2013

He left the West Midlands at 18 to live in Spain, working alongside Elliot Wright from ‘The Only Way Is Essex’. He described life there as a ‘breath of fresh air’.

In 2013, he accepted a deal as resident performer in Mallorca.
