Police appeal for info on Brettell Lane collision Amblecote

Detectives are appealing for information following a serious collision involving a motorbike and lorry in Amblecote, Stourbridge.

The motorbike rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries following the collision in Brettell Lane, Amblecote, at around 12pm yesterday (1 November).

The Air Ambulance helicopter was dispatched and in attendance was a MERIT trauma specialist.

The 29-year-old man remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital. The driver of the lorry remained at the scene and is assisting with enquiries.

DC Mat Leeming, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said:

“We are keen to establish the circumstances around this collision and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to us to get in touch.

“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has dash cam footage.”
