Glen Elvin appeared before Magistrates in Dudley this morning accused of the murder of 28-year-old Christopher Harm.
Elvin, 25 and of Fern Avenue, Stanley, spoke only to confirm his name and address. He had two black eyes and was wearing standard police custody clothing – grey t-shirt and bottoms.
Either side of him in the dock were two court security officers with Elvin restrained in handcuffs.
Christopher was pronounced dead not far from the Merry Hill Shopping Centre, Brierley Hill in the early hours of Saturday morning (13//10/18).
A post mortem examination concluded that he died of a single stab wound.
A statment released by Christopher’s family, read:
“A loving son, dad and brother gone so tragically and a family left in pieces forever.”
